Last June 15 was the deadline  for  specialist contractions by the Ministry of Health (minsa.gob.pa),wich did not attend, ensuring they would not participate becouse it doesn´t have supplies, medicine and other necessary tools, to perform their primary duties as doctors.

As not have favorable reponse, decided to open a new call for foreing doctors  to participate, for cover the healt demand in areas of  Panama, La Chorerra, Cocle, Veraguas, Chiriqui, Los Santos. Herrera, Bocas de Toro, Darien and counties Ngobe Bugle and Kuna Yala. In the specialties of: nephrology, anesthesiology, pedriatrics, neonatology, radiology and imaging, gynecology and obstetrics, and will be hiring  by 36 months  to ensure compliance with the process of  formation of  panamanian specialists.

Sea Turtles Nesting Haven in Panama

sea turtle nesting season has begun, now through October, These giant, air-breathing endangered reptiles will be nesting. The Panama coastline is a key nesting ground for many sea turtle species, and its warm, equatorial waters are home to five different types: the hawksbill, loggerhead, green, leatherback and olive ridley species. This time of the year, newly hatched turtles can be seen struggling across Panama’s sandy beaches towards the sea.
Sea Turtles don’t reach breeding maturity until age 30, Panama’s coasts provide many nesting havens for sea turtles during this vital season. Chiriqui Beach in the Bocas del Toro Province remains one of the most important sites for nesting leatherback turtles in the Atlantic Ocean. As many as 7,170 to 14,005 endangered leatherbacks nest in Panama.

The first round of the IFA Masters Surfing tournament have been completed , with players from South Africa dominating the 21 country event. All Six South African Participants won their heats. South Africa had two key performances from David Malherbe (15.43 out of a possible 20.00) and former Kahunas and Grand Kahunas World Champion, Chris Knutsen (9.5 out of a possible 10.00).

Earls was wanted by the United States Marshalls. In 1999 he was convicted on three counts of of first-degree sexual assault of a child and sentenced to 45 years in prison. Then, in February of 2005, Earls won an appeal for a new trial and was released on a $25,000 cash bail posted by his family members. In March of 2005, Earls violated his conditions of
bond by having contact with a young woman under the age of 18. Earls has been hiding in the American community of Boquete under an alias for five years.
